Recipe - Wash 250g basmati rice and set aside for 15 min. to get soaked. Par boil the rice using little salt and turmeric. Heat 3 tbsp oil /ghee, add 3 medium sliced onion, 2 tbsp Nilon's ginger garlic paste and fry until golden brown colour. Add 1 1/2 tbsp Nilon's Biryani Masala, 1/2 cup curd, 2 medium sliced tomatoes and cook till oil gets separated. Add 200g cut vegetable mixture, like cauliflower, french beans, carrot, peas and salt to taste. Cook until the vegetables gets mild tender. Apply ghee in bowl / handi, spread half the rice and vegetables, then spread remaining rice, pour 2-3 tbsp ghee and half cup milk. Cover it and keep in low flame for 10-15 min. Garnish and serve hot with plain curd / raita /salad.

Recipe -
For preparing the rice - Boil 250 g Basmati Rice with 900 ml water, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp edible oil /ghee and a pinch of turmeric. Drain excess water and keep aside.
For preparing the gravy - Empty contents into a pan and mix well with 300 ml water, 300 g mixed vegetables (potatoes, carrots, peas, french beans, cauliflower, capsicum etc.) and 25 g (2 tbsp approx.) curd. Once mix starts boiling, cover and simmer on low heat for 15-20 mins.
For preparing the Biryani - Fry thin slices of an onion in 2 tbsp oil and mix cooked rice. Spread rice and gravy in even layers in a thick-bottomed vessel. Add 1 tbsp ghee. Garnish with cashew nuts, raisins and a pinch of saffron. Close lid and simmer on low heat for 5 mins.
