Usal Masala

Brand - Zatpat Usal Masala [December 2009 - Rs. 16.00]
Recipe - Pressure cook 1/4 kg sprouted moong beans. Heat 1/4 bowl oil in a pan and add 1/2 tsp of cumin and mustard seeds each, 3/4 katori onion paste, 1/2 tsp each of garlic and ginger paste, 1/4 katori fresh grated coconut and saute it. Add 3 katori waer and 3 tsp usal masala and the cooked beans. Mix well and sprinkle finely chopped coriander.

This masala contains salt and chilli powder. More can be added if required.

This spice can be added to any mixed vegetable for taste.
